Founder & Speech- Language Pathologist 

Briana is a Speech- Language Pathologist (SLP) with specialized edu​cation and exceptional clinical experiences in the assessment and treatment of clients with speech, language, learning and cognitive needs. The transformative educational, clinical and volunteer experiences Briana has engaged in has cultivated Supercalifragilistic's professional values, beliefs, & therapeutic style to provide evidenced based therapy to clients utilizing an empathetic, positive & effective therapy approach.

The pinnacle to Supercalifragilistic's business success is the Founder's belief, in a "holistic approach" for speech and language therapy which services the disorder, rather than "standardizing" based on the client's age. Supercalifragilistic Speech- Language Therapy has extensive experience with a range of clinical disorders, 

serving both adults and children. 

Throughout her career, team collaboration has been of utmost importance to Briana's therapeutic success with her clients. She actively consults and collaborates with families and health professionals (developmental pediatricians, neuropsychologists, audiologists, nurses, dieticians, behavior analysts, occupational therapists & physical therapists), along with educational professionals (general education teachers, English Language Learner specialists, literacy coaches, special education teachers, school psychologists, adjustment counselors, evaluation team leaders, and school/district administrators)

 to determine best practice initiatives for her clients.

Briana is credentialed by the professional and scientific American Speech- Language and Hearing Association, and licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Board of Registration for SLP’s and Audiologists-MA. She also holds licenses and credentials in Connecticut. Briana obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from Eckerd College, a liberal arts college focused on the unique development of servant leader initiatives. She attained her Master of Science in Speech- Language Pathology and teacher certification from Southern Connecticut State University, a well-known center for teacher education. Briana recently completed a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Study in Education Administration and is

 licensed as a Special Education Administrator, from UMASS-Boston. 

It has been important to Briana to maintain a dedicated effort of volunteerism in the profession of Speech- Language Pathology in the Commonwealth. She has held a variety of longstanding positions on the Executive Council with the Massachusetts Speech-Language Hearing Association including, Vice President of Advocacy & VP of Clinical Education & Planning. She is currently the State Educational Advocacy Leader in MA and Habilitation Advocate. She has mentored many graduate level Speech- Language Pathologists and serves on her alma-matter alumni boards.  Briana recently earned the ACE-Award, for earning more than 70 hours of Continuing Education credit within a 36 month period. She is also an integral member of the Junior League of Boston, 

where her volunteer efforts focus on the wellness of women and girls in the 

City of Boston.
